The Galaxy Mega 6.3 was released in 2013 around June. This phone is still new, in the market, and is one of the 1st tablet featuring a 6.3 inch screen. At times I wonder what drives Samsung to choosing the screen size of their devices, cause a 6.3 inch screen just seems random. Probably soon Samsung will have a device from 1 inch to 20 inch.
Features: It has a 6.3 SC-LCD capacitive touch screen. It comes in 2 versions in terms of internal memory; 8 gb and 16 gb. It packs a 1.5gb ram powered by a Dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait processor. It has an 8 megapixel camera, autofocus with LED flash and can take videos of 1080p@30fps. It has a 1.9 megapixel secondary camera. The sim card slot supports a micro-sim just like the Galaxy Note II and the phablet also supports the 4g (LTE) network.
This tablet was probably made for size. In terms of features the Galaxy Note II has passed it in some features such as ram, processor. It also has a dedicated stylus “Smart stylus” as in the Galaxy Note II.
Unless you want something of bigger size I would still go for the Galaxy Note II. To me it was one of the best devices Samsung made, and the devices to come just revolve around the features of the Note II with slight minor improvements. This Smartphone is still a good deal for those who like big size. The phablet can be purchased from online stores such as amazon.
